Consultation Fee
To cover the cost of the time involved in providing a detailed analysis of a case, a fee may be assessed for consultations upon a brief review of the case with the client. The consultation fee is applied towards the total fee for a case if the attorney is retained.
Legal Fees
Fees in each case reflect the individual facts presented during the consultation, the urgency of the client’s problem, and the anticipated time and skill required to achieve the client’s goals. We charge different fees for different services, often based on the complexity of your case.
Consultation
A consultation with an attorney is an essential opportunity to provide prospective clients with a detailed analysis of their legal problems, needs and goals. The initial consultation provides necessary information to analyze all options, including the timing and cost for achieving the results sought. Consultations are provided in-person. Prior to a consultation, we ask that potential clients gather copies of their immigration-related documents, including passports, I-94 Arrival/Departure Card, I-797c receipts, and any other previous submissions to the Immigration Service or the Immigration Court. Complete copies of any criminal records also are essential. Please either bring the documents with you to your in-person consultation meeting, or transmit them at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled consultation.
Please be on time for your scheduled consultation. If you are unavoidably delayed, or need to cancel, please call the office and let us know.
